The Core Thesis
I’m a San Antonio-based builder focused on the physical layer of the future economy.
Data center growth is rewriting global power demand. As energy needs scale and privatization accelerates, the bottleneck won’t be software — it’ll be physical infrastructure: generation, grid capacity, and who controls it. My objective is to build and manage efficient energy systems, specifically scalable solar and nuclear.
That’s why I’m studying Physics and Economics. You don’t need a business degree to run a business — you need a first-principles understanding of how the physical world actually works. Everything downstream follows from that.
How I Fund the Build
I don’t take on debt to bootstrap this. I run a cash-flow model instead.
14+ years in high-volume hospitality — bartending at properties including the Grand Hyatt San Antonio — funds my coursework and my investing, full stop. The mechanics of the job are simple; what’s actually useful is the environment. A bar is a constant, high-volume read on how people communicate, negotiate, and make decisions under low stakes — and that’s a skill set that transfers directly to sales, management, and reading a room in any room.
I also manage my own equity portfolio — long-term positions in businesses I use, understand, and think will still be dominant in 10+ years. The process: industry research, chart and fundamentals review, and position sizing driven by conviction and risk management, not hot tips. The Pivot
I started in the biological sciences — pre-med coursework, plus certifications in exercise science and sports nutrition, backed by 12 years as a personal trainer focused on sports performance and physical therapy.
I moved away from it deliberately: medicine and fitness are high-friction systems with a capped ceiling. Physical infrastructure — energy, specifically — has a much higher one. I took the same analytical rigor and pointed it at a bigger problem.
What I’m Building Toward
Short-term: Working toward CAPM and Primavera certifications, and holding an active Texas real estate license (eXp Realty, referral division) as a side channel.
Long-term: project management in large-scale energy infrastructure. I think it’s one of the biggest unsolved problems the world will face in the next few decades, and I want to be building inside it — eventually running my own sustainable energy operation.
I grew up here in San Antonio, keep my circle small, and take care of my family when it matters. Outside of work, you’ll find me lifting, cooking something worth eating, or somewhere I haven’t been yet. I’m not building any of this for its own sake — I’m building toward being free enough to help the people and problems I actually choose, on my own terms.
